Huts in the Hills, set at the base of the
Cheviot hills in the

Huts in the Hills has five unique, boutique shepherds huts, each in their own field (each with their own outdoor bath, terrace and fire pit), offering complete privacy and solace from the outside world. In fact, the only sounds you'll hear are from the bountiful
wildlife surrounding each hut.
Whilst soaking in your outdoor antique french bath you can take in the stunning views - in every direction - of the beautiful
Northumberland National Park. With only a curious sheep or adventurous hare to interrupt your view. At nighttime, the stars come out and shine their very brightest from this
dark skies protected area.
The huts are deliberately remote - surrounded by stunning countryside with brilliant walks or bike routes straight from your hut. The village of
Rothbury (with the magnificent National Trust
Cragside estate and
Simonside Hills) is a 20 min drive away as is the stunning
Ingram Valley where you can see the ancient forts and paddle in the river. Pretty
Alnwick is a 25 minute drive, where you can visit Barter Books,
The Alnwick Garden and
Lilidorei or
Alnwick Castle. It also has big supermarkets and many places to eat.
Nicola's cooking is revered in the area, with many returning to sample her meals again and again. Delicious meals can be ordered and will be delivered directly to your hut. Her breakfast baskets also come strongly recommended. If you prefer to self cater, each hut has top of the range cooking facilities, with everything you need to create your own meals.

Our most traditional hut is amongst the animals. Expect to be entertained by the Valais Blacknose sheep, horses and chickens.
THE HUTTE: Sleeps 2 adults : £450 for 2 nights
The Hutte offers Swiss-style luxury accommodation in Northumberland, this two-storey magnificent shepherds hut delivers outstanding views and unforgettable sunrises in its secret star gazing den.
HEDGEHOPE: Sleeps 2 adults : £310 for 2 nights
Hedgehope is a step up from your traditional shepherds hut. It has a romantic feel to it and has a stunning veranda that overlooks fields full of hares.
MAYLIES: Sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children : £430 for 2 nights
Our largest and most luxurious shepherds hut. With 2 double beds and a small bunk bed, a stargazing roof and large terrace and some hidden features!.
CHEVIOT: Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children : £370 for 2 nights
Our most remote hut, Cheviot has a large terrace, with shaded area with magnificent views of the stunning Northumberland countryside. It has a kingsize bed and children's bunk beds in a separate room.
