The Sporty One
Beadnell village is set at the end of a sheltered, horseshoe-shaped beach called Beadnell Bay. This sweeping crescent of beach is fun for everyone on the Northumberland coast, with golden sand perfect for sand castle building, beach cricket, and water sports.
The protected waters of Beadnell Bay make this beach a favorite for water sports fans of all ages. You can kite surf, kayak, or wakeboard whether you're an expert, or if you’ve never tried it before. There is even a sailing club, which has been based in the village for over 40 years.
Beadnell harbour is the only west-facing harbour on the east coast, where fishermen are still able to fish for wild salmon and sea trout. You can find their colourful fishing boats dotted around the harbour.
