It’s been popular to speak of self-publishing as the ‘fall back’ or the ‘second choice’, the realm of those who were unable to find a publishing deal. Not so, in my case. To my objective eye, coming to the industry without bias or preconceptions, I thought it was a no-brainer and was baffled as to why more authors wouldn’t give it a go themselves.
