Stretching 73 miles from coast to coast, Hadrian’s Wall marked the wild north-west frontier of the Roman Empire.
Today, Northumberland holds the longest stretch of this impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasting dramatic surrounding landscapes and the remains of the forts, towers, turrets and towns that once kept watch over Hadrian’s Wall.
You could win a luxurious overnight stay at Langley Castle Hotel, a 14th Century castle which has been restored into a magnificent hotel, along with entry to two of Northumberland's most popular attractions along Hadrian’s Wall, Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum.

The winner will be the first name drawn at random from all entries.
Date Restrictions: The stay at Langley Castle can only be used on a midweek date (Mon - Thurs) and excludes bank holidays, Christmas and New Years Eve and subject to availability.
The prize consists of: A stay for two adults in a Deluxe Castle bedroom for 1 night on a Bed & Breakfast basis in 2026 plus admission for two adults to Roman Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum during normal opening hours.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
The winners will be responsible for their own transport to and around Northumberland.
Additional beverages, meals, snacks and extra facilities are not included in the prize package.
