Through to archway of Bondgate Tower you can enjoy Alnwick's cobbled streets, where you can explore Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery, Hulne Park and many excellent shops and restaurants.

Alnwick farmers market takes place on the last Friday of each month in Alnwick market square. You'll find a mouth watering selection of food from local producers including cakes, artisan breads, Northumbrian meats and fish.

Christmas Starts in Alnwick

Friday 22nd November – Alnwick Christmas Lights Switch On

Traditional Alnwick light switch on in the Market Square. Entertainment from 6pm including the Playhouse Concert Band. The switch on will be 7pm by the Duchess of Northumberland. Santa and his sleigh comes in immediately after the switch on thanks to Alnwick Lions. 

Friday 22nd December - Alnwick Christmas Light Switch On

Enjoy activities from 4pm onwards in Alnwick's historic market place.

Saturday 23rd November – Market in town square (daytime) and Spark! performance in the Town Centre (evening) 

Alnwick's Christmas weekend market will run on Saturday 10-3pm with lots of Festive Entertainment. Alnwick All Stars and the Spark! illuminated band will be performing in Alnwick market square from 6pm onwards - https://www.alnwickgarden.com/events/grand-lantern-parade-2/
