Warm Welcome, Stunning Location

Katy H, Stockport, England, United Kingdom
Lovely warm welcome with tea and cake. Magnificent yet relaxing and comfortable rooms. Hosts share their lovely home and are attentive without being intrusive. The sitting room has a log fire and a selection of drinks with an honesty box if you fancy a tipple in the evening. Breakfasts are delicious and I can highly recommend the local Seahouse kippers. The walk along the beach to Banburgh is beautiful and nearby Linisfarne a must. A wonderful stay.

Superb,cannot fault!

Stayed for the weekend and were treated like royalty. There were 5 of us and nothing was too much trouble. We were very honoured to have been accepted into their very grand home in a very non judgemental manner. A very relaxing weekend in a beautiful part of the country. Next year's booking already made!

Welcoming hosts and great breakfast

Rachel D, Norwich, United Kingdom
My husband and I stayed at budle hall for four nights in June. When we arrived we were offered tea and homemade cake which was lovely. The host, Ralph, told us a bit about the house and the area. We were informed that we needed to preorder cooked breakfast the day before, there was a lovely choice, toast and cereal was available as well. Breakfast was very sociable as all the guests shared a table. The house was lovely, it is the family's home and they do have a dog, which was very well behaved. We stayed in the room without the ensuite but we did have a private bathroom across the hall. The room was very well equipped with ample furniture, tea and coffee facilities, biscuits, a television and lots of books. The bed was very comfortable. There was a nice view of the garden. There was also a complimentary bar in the drawing room. It was a short walk to the beach and Bamburgh castle. There were also a few nice places to eat a short drive away. I'd say it was a good location for exploring the area as it was very quiet and rural feeling but also not too far from the main road. We would definitely stay here again.

Wish we'd stayed longer

Stuart B,
We recently stayed for one night on our way back down south after our tour of Scotland. As soon as we arrived we knew we would regret only staying one night. The property and gardens are wonderful and we were given a very warm welcome. Delicious breakfast with options of (real) kippers, smoked salmon and "stacks of pancakes". Will stay for longer next time!

We stayed for 3 nights in the Blue room as my wife wanted the massive bathroom! The bedroom was itself very large with superb views down to the sea and over the park like gardens. Breakfasts were of excellent quality and plentiful in choice and portions. Ralf was an excellent host (Celia was a little under the weather), we were offered tea on our return every day and drinks in the evening. We would recommend this B & B to anyone without hesitation.
