Overview

Felmoor Park opened in July 2010. The park is located in the heart of Northumberland and close to all of the areas attractions. The park has been designed and constructed to the highest standard while retaining the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Set in 40 acres of woodland we have Scandinavian log cabins and static caravans available to purchase or rent. The majority of our log cabins have panoramic views over the lake for those peaceful nights. Imagine enjoying a glass of chilled wine while your relaxing on the veranda on a warm summers evening.

When it comes to Northumberland self catering accommodation you would be hard pressed to find a more tranquil setting so be prepared to relax and forget your daily workload because by choosing Felmoor Park you will get a real feel for the natural beauty of the area. If you think other Northumberland accommodation is good be prepared to experience something a little special.

As an additional benefit to our guests, we have arranged discounted rates at Burgham Park and Morpeth golf courses. There are also over 20 other golf courses within a 30 minute drive as well as walking, cycling and horse riding so you will be spoilt for choice.

We also have homes that are pet friendly so why not treat yourself to a luxury break.

Beautiful site but very noisy

Kataugust,
We came here for a tranquil getaway with our baby. The log cabin was beautiful, it overlooked the lake. It was well equipped and we had high hopes. Unfortunately we had a very rowdy group in the next cabin and it was like being on an 18-30 holiday. They were in the hot tub every night from 8-10.30 getting very drunk, screaming and shouting. The cabins DO NOT block out the noise! Unfortunately there is no one you can contact with regards to this and we did not want a confrontation with drunken people we had to grin and bear it. The hot tubs are located between each cabin so are very close. Would sadly be hesitant to stay here again due to having to go through. Lovely place and if you had thoughtful neighbours it would be great.

Caribou Lodge

khorrabin, Stockport, United Kingdom
Stayed for another long weekend in the Caribou Lodge. It's a fantastic little cabin perfect for a holiday with a dog. With everything you could possible wish for. Beautiful clean, comfortable accommodation. Felmoor Park is quiet, peaceful place and all the staff very polite.

Beautiful park and countryside

BevNorthYorkshire, north yorkshire
Went here for 11 nights, gorgeous park with lots of log cabins on site and statics. Some owned and some to let. Beautiful country side walks with our dog. All doggy friendly, saloon bar/cafe on site too. The cabin was more than equipped for a self cater holiday. They need to make sure all pots and pans and kitchen has a good scrub and clean after guests have stayed- we had to wash all before use as they were grimey. I'm fussy on things like this, even tho I know others use the lodges I don't want to see any evidence of this! A cracked shower tray in the middle was a concern also, it was another issue we raised. A fab base to visit all surrounding areas. Resident swans and ducks on a lake that the cabins are set around. Lovely hot tub-could be updated and in full working order but still enjoyed the tub. It's a beautiful site, they just need to be more vigilant in high season! The issues we had with the lodge we fed back to coquet cottages that are the agents that advertise for them and they contacted the park directly, very quickly and very efficiently. So all points we raised will now be sorted. All said, they are friendly, homely owners, and do have an amazing park, so we would definitely stay again! Northumberland is a such a beautiful place to visit, there is so much to see and do! To name a few, Cragside house and gardens The famous barter books Alnwick castle and gardens Warkworth castle Bamburgh castle Creswell beach-beautiful Craster Aln railway Grace darling museum Seahouses Farne isles Holy island the boat trips are fab! Craster to the oldest and prob only smoke house for kippers! This is just a few that we visited in the time we were there and there is so much more to see Loads of dog friendly pubs and cafes to which was amazing for us! I can't recommend enough going to this beautiful place! We will be visiting again next year and also returning to felmoor park. Thanks for a brill holiday

Last Minute Get Away

LinsH83, Sedgefield, United Kingdom
Booked this by chance off a Facebook post offering a nights stay for a reasonable price. Packed a bag, jumped in the car & made the 45min journey, arriving around 5. Kids straight in (massive) hot tub where they spent the rest of the evening! Decor of this place is lovely & very clean too. A welcome pack with a fresh loaf, wine, donuts, milk & jam was a nice touch. Lovely rooms & lovely surroundings with BBQ, patio furniture, sun loungers.... with better weather this would be beautiful to spend a summers evening. Few niggles but only picky ones TBH, volume of TV couldn't be adjusted & it was really loud! Also some of the cutlery wasn't clean but most disappointing was the fact the hot tub wasn't working the next morning despite us following the instructions & covering it up after use which upset the kids. However I wouldn't let these things put me off, like I said in better weather this place would be fab & the cabin itself is absolutely beautiful.

Great , relaxing and friendly site

Hunt2,
Great site near all main attractions. Very friendly reception/ bar staff. Site very quite so great for a relaxing break. Only recommendation is that they purchase some large play equipment and create a better play area.
