Overview

Felmoor Park opened in July 2010. The park is located in the heart of Northumberland and close to all of the areas attractions. The park has been designed and constructed to the highest standard while retaining the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Set in 40 acres of woodland we have Scandinavian log cabins and static caravans available to purchase or rent. The majority of our log cabins have panoramic views over the lake for those peaceful nights. Imagine enjoying a glass of chilled wine while your relaxing on the veranda on a warm summers evening.

When it comes to Northumberland self catering accommodation you would be hard pressed to find a more tranquil setting so be prepared to relax and forget your daily workload because by choosing Felmoor Park you will get a real feel for the natural beauty of the area. If you think other Northumberland accommodation is good be prepared to experience something a little special.

As an additional benefit to our guests, we have arranged discounted rates at Burgham Park and Morpeth golf courses. There are also over 20 other golf courses within a 30 minute drive as well as walking, cycling and horse riding so you will be spoilt for choice.

We also have homes that are pet friendly so why not treat yourself to a luxury break.

Relaxing retreat

Trudy W, Bradford, United Kingdom
I stayed at Felmoor Park with my hubby and 14 year old son and we loved it. The site is lovely and peaceful and having a cabin over looking the lake was just amazing. The Crazy Horse saloon is a quirky pub serving delicious food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed walking and cycling around the park and relaxing in the hot tub watching the sunset over the lake. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Tyne and Tweed Log Cabins

Sheelagh D, County Durham, United Kingdom
Just had a wonderful long weekend over Easter and hired both the Tyne and Tweed log cabins - absolutely fantastic. A real home from home. Everything you need in the kitchen and WOW real log cabins. Hot tubs were amazing and we enjoyed every minute. Nice walks around the lake and the park is kept very neat and tidy. Would highly recommend and will certainly be going back.

Fabulous location

Lilimaclu, Durham
Beautifully clean site with great walks and amenities. Perfect base for exploring gorgeous Northumberland. Would definitely return to this site. The lodge we stayed in was amazing! Kids had a ball exploring and riding bikes. Can't fault it at all.

Girls weekend away

Carrie T,
We stayed in the the tweed cabin with a hot tub. The cabin it self was nice, very spacious and clean. However, on arrival we were asked to pay a £100 bond and when we left on the Monday to phone and ask for the money to be refunded into my bank account- this is fine but after reading the rules hung in the cabin it stated if we didn't turn down our beds, leave the cabin in immaculate condition and if we didn't keep the noise down after 11pm we would loose this money. When did noise constitute for loosing money? I payed the bond thinking it was incase we broke something i.e the telly, ruined the carpet etc. On the first night we were in the hot tub, the neighbouring cabin held an 6 girl group which kept on coming over and asking if our hot tub was warm as there's wasn't. Making this our problem. We got out of the hot tub by 11pm as instructed to which we went and watched a film, 2am came and next doors hot tub was obviously warm so they got in and were a little noisy (which didn't bother us), however in the morning we had a noise complaint! The hot tub cleaner came round and told us and not politely either, to which we replied I think you mean it was next door he said it insisted it was us who were making the noise and someone from another neighbouring cabin had came over to check? Even though the rules state not to invade other cabins space?! On the second night we were back in the hot tub and there was a static caravan looking over out hot tub and a women kept on peeping out the window watching us! This was only 8pm and we were not making excessive noise! Luckily no other noise complaint came from this but it did made us on edge and we couldn't relax properly. On phoning for my bond back I stated which cabin we were staying in and the woman asked me to wait one minute. I briefly hear hear in the background talking to her colleague deciding weather or not we should get our bond back, too which one of them said I'm sure it was the other cabin. No apology, no nothing. It didn't ruin my holiday but it was quite irritating as all we wanted was to have a relaxing getaway with the girls.

Woody's, The Tyne and The Tweed

dananthquinn, Sunderland, North East
Part of large group who use this site regularly, we booked 4 lodges in total 3 of them being the luxury ones (The Tyne, The Tweed and Woody's) These lodges really are perfect to get away from it all and enjoy the weekend. They are nicely decorated and well equipped. I personally stayed in Woody's lodge and I've found it to be the best yet. It has got everything you need and then some. It's comfortable, cosy and well furnished. The beds are very comfortable and it has an amazing outdoor space with decking and hot tub. Really worth the money and I would recommend staying here.
