Fabulous afternoon tea!

Took my mam here for afternoon tea and it was absolutely exquisite. The surroundings are beautiful and we'll worth a visit. The cranberry scones were to die for! Service was excellent and couldn't be faulted.

Stayed in the Noble Suite which was very quaint but had everything we needed. Fabulous meal in the restaurant and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A beautiful quiet location - one I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Stayed on a Whim

Originally booked for Sunday lunch with my son who is at University. Had a great meal with friendly excellent staff. Fancied a few more glasses of wine and so sought availability of a room. Very attentive staff found a standard room no problem. The room was small but had everything required and was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and the location and outlook is really peaceful considering how close it is to the Centre. We were so impressed we booked a couple of rooms for Graduation Day in July and looking forward to more of the same.

Afternoon Tea

Kayleigh J,
Fantastic selection of teas, I went for strawberries and cream, beautiful! Lovely, delicate, fresh sandwiches, followed by 3 scones! Great to have cheese, fruit and plain options. The Chocolate financier was rich and velvety, the rhubarb and vanilla cheesecake was topped with a delicate meringue kiss that just melted in the mouth. But my absolute weakness was the white chocolate and cherry macaron. With such a great selection we could not finish all the sweets, so they were boxed up for us to take home. A perfect afternoon tea.

Delightful boutique hotel

Was allocated room 6 overlooking the quiet garden (this might be busy if a party was in full swing as it also overlooked the patio outside the dining room). The room was large and tastefully furnished with plenty of good facilities. The bathroom was also large and included an excellent shower over the bath. Breakfast was excellent and in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Car parking is included.
