This is a reflective mindfulness walk along the Tyne… looking and listening and sharing words. It can be too easy to rush through life. Our walk along the River Tyne is to help slow us down, pay attention to the present moment, our thoughts, feelings and the environment you are in. What are the stories here? What do the trees, the river have to say… what is our response? Some of the walk will be spent in silence to enable you to be able to to pay attention to the present moment, your thoughts and feelings and listen to your surroundings. We will walk along the west bank (crossing over to the east bank) of the river to the Lambley Viaduct and back to Featherstone, either by the same route or the old railway track, depending on time. Numbers are limited so it is essential to book; please do not just turn up on the day.
