Not one of our best experiences

essate, Dumbarton, United Kingdom
Stayed here recently as part of an organised weekend, get the feeling the place is run for the convenience of the staff rather than the guests. The staff on duty were excellent however I feel they are hampered by corporate decisions made at a several levels above them. Food was decent and rooms comfortable, maybe some of the corporate suits in the organisation need to stay incognito to get the real guest experience, eg limited late bar facilities available to guests, staff setting up restaurant area for breakfast while guests still eating dinner, probably would not go back

Called in whilst passing as we needed somewhere to eat. On the side of the A1 so there was some traffic noise. Staff were friendly, place was clean, food was ok.Typical restaurant attached to a motel/hotel.

Haggis tasted like Mcsweeies was tasty. Mash not good probably wrong time of the year for mashing spuds. Veg was Ok probably frozen. Service good

Great Stay

usandhim2016, Clitheroe, United Kingdom
Stayed for three nights at the Lindisfarne for my wife's birthday and I must say that Chris and his team are a credit to the place. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing ,how people can complain about the amount is beyond me. As for the accommodation it is modern and spotless OK the rooms may be a bit dark but do you go away to spend all day in them !!. The bed was king size and very comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean . Once again thanks to Chris and his team for making our stay with our dog so pleasant.

Excellent pub

Katherine N,
Had an evening meal here after visiitng lindisfarne. Staff extremely friendly and attentive and food very good with lots of choice. Nice surroundings, would go again. Also tried one of the other pubs in the chain in seahouses, same consistent quality.
