Very good value

Stayed one night on the way from Suffolk to Scotland and the stop over was very well worth it. Warm welcome, large and well sorted room (6) overlooking the front road and fields of sheep. Bit of road noise in the night but the rear rooms don't have much of a view. Sunday lunch was still available and the cost, quality and portions were excellent. Breakfast was served very efficiently by Carol, and it too proved to be as good as an English breakfast gets. A great place to stop and visit the Borders, so we will be back Carol.

Warm Welcome and Enjoyable Meal

We have driven past this pub without stopping on many occasions. Today we decided to try it out. We had an evening meal with drinks. We received a warm wlecome on our arrival. The lounge/dining area is fresh and very tastefully decorated with some nice artwork on the walls. The real ale - Golden Plover - and the red wine were both excellent. The food was hearty and very enjoyable. Overall it was good value for money. We will return.

Redesdale Arms replied: Dear Robric1, Thank you for your kind review of the Redesdale Arms, I'm gad you decided to stop on this occasion and that you enjoyed your meal. We look forward to welcoming you back. Regards Carrol & Mark

Warm welcome and lovely home cooking

Very nice accommodation with friendly welcome, real ale and excellent home cooking. I stayed there on a whistle stop on business and was very satisfied. All depends on what you want. It's in the middle of nowhere which I found lovely, excellent views and if you like a good scenic walk this would be ideal.

Redesdale Arms replied: Dear Graham, Thank you for taking the time to review the Redesdale Arms. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again. Regards Carrol & Mark

Nice place to stay

We stayed here for 3 nights on a midweek offer. Clean & comfy rooms, good facilities and WiFi , nice breakfasts and very quiet with nice views from the front rooms. We had a bar meal one night we were there which was very nice as well.
