A warm and friendly atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.

E J,
A large family room with large disabled-friendly bathroom was provided instead of a twin room without any extra cost. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a full breakfast range and home-cooked evening meals that were excellent in quality and value. The proprietor and staff were very friendly and most accommodating particularly with my travelling companion who took ill during our stay. A very big thank you for a lovely few days rest and recuperation.

Charming little inn in a lovely location.

girls2go, Bristol
This is a charming little inn in a lovely location. Our room was spacious with generous amounts of tea, coffee and biscuits on the welcome tray. Beds were comfortable and the view from the window (when the clouds lifted!) was of sheep grazing on open moorland. There was a good choice of delicious hot and cold food for breakfast and evening meals were varied and reasonably priced. The landlady was very welcoming and clearly enjoyed her role and which is probably why the rest of the staff were such a cheerful bunch!

Redesdale Arms replied: Dear girls2go, Thank you for taking the time to review the Redesdale Arms, it’s great to hear you had an enjoyable stay with us. I do enjoy my job, all the more when we get feedback like yours… it is much appreciated. Carrol

Really lovely couple of nights stay.

Warm welcome, nice room & really tasty home cooked food. The hotel was spotless & Carrol couldn't have been more helpful. It was lovely & quiet overnight so we slept very well. Excellent breakfast, especially the sausages!!

Redesdale Arms replied: Dear jsm548, Thank you for taking the time to review the Redesdale Arms and for your great feedback. We hope to see you again. Regards Carrol & Mark

Answer to a prayer

Found this place by recommendation from another smaller Hotel that was fully booked. It was getting late but the Landlady at the Bay Horse, West Woodburn had phoned ahead for us. We arrived at 8.15 a.m. Staff could not have been more helpful, suggesting we chose a meal before taking our luggage upstairs. We were tired, hungry and the Redesdale Arms proved to be perfect stopover enroute from Bournemouth to Aberdeen. Clean, comfortable, nice food, wine and tartan carpets with superb views and outlook. What more can you ask. Happy travellers.

Redesdale Arms replied: Dear Fiona, Happy travellers, what more can we ask? Thank you for your kind review, we’re delighted we were able to accommodate you and you found our staff to be so helpful. Regards Carrol

Great Little Hotel

Stuart T, Chichester, United Kingdom
Very friendly little hotel. We had a spacious and well-furnished room with a nice bathroom. The room had a sofa and a decent television. Bottled water was provided every night, as were tea and coffeemaking facilities. The owners and staff were most helpful. The food was good and very moderately priced. Just the place to relax in beautiful countryside for a few days

Redesdale Arms replied: Dear Stuart, Thank you for your kind review, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and found your room to be comfortable. Your feedback is much appreciated. Regards Carrol & Mark
