Lovely place

Me and my other half visited this hostelry recently as we were viewing the wedding venue next door. We loved the decor of this pub and the wedding venue is stunning, but that's another story. We decided to have lunch at the William de Percy and what a good decision it was. The menu was good and varied from fish and chips to crepes! My husband opted for "the biggest fish the boat could land" with chips and I had a crepe with streaky bacon and maple syrup with a side of sweet potato fries! Both meals were well presented and tasty! We couldn't possibly manage a desert ! We will definitely be paying this place another visit soon.

Worth the drive!

Great food, service and friendly, helpful staff. Good ambience for a lunchtime country pub type venue. I did highlight the need to stock good quality non alcoholic beers like Erdinger as many customers will be driving.

It was perfect for my birthday. WE love to holiday around Kielder. The food was excellent, staff so helpful and to be able to bring our dog in was the icing on the cake. We will be back

Decided to come for dinner while staying near Rothbury and glad we did. Food ticks the 'gastropub' box and was a cut above other local pubs/restaurants we'd tried. Excellent service and pretty interior. Worth the trip.

William De Percy replied: Hi Dave, It is always a pleasure to receive such lovely feedback and I will pass on your kind words to the manager at the venue. We hope to see you again soon in the future. Kind Regards, Gemma
