A very convenient stop over

Andrew L, St. Albans, United Kingdom
Situated on the A1, with Banburgh castle & its wide sandy beeches just 10 minutes away, Purdy Lodge is a clean & well equipped privately owned (dog friendly) motel with pleasant staff and a very nice little bar & restaurant.

Nice stay

zdibu,
One night stay in Purdy Lodge was good. Room a bit dated but clean and you cannot hear a thing at night. Very friendly staff and tasty breakfast included. Good location makes our trip faster and easier.

Short Break

DaveyW_7, Beijing
We booked a family room for one night. Good location, comfortable room, friendly, efficient staff and good food. We go at a good deal on room. Real fast and evening dinner. As other have said, you can't hear any noise from the road.

fantastic accommodation

alan w, Penrith, United Kingdom
booked this several weeks ago and i was not disappointed, we decided when booking to have a couple of nights in an executive room with a extra large bed, room upstairs had just been up dated an worth every penny.Views across the fields to the sea and in the distance bamburgh castle. The staff on arriving were very helpful as was the staff in the restaurant which was nice and quite with no loud music blaring away so we could have a good conversation with our meal. All in all the staff that we met during our two day stay were very professional in their duties and nothing was to much trouble.WELL DONE. We now have this on our list of places to stay and will be back soon.Thankyou All @ Purdy Lodge. Our Stay was 24th--26th April 2017

Very good location to main attractions

Dariusz S, Sheffield, United Kingdom
I chosen this hotel as is in centre of Northumbria, just off A1, so you can access many attractions within half an hour. Despite traffic flow near hotel, rooms are very quiet. Clean inside and outside, dog friendly. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Breakfast was included.
