Wild Wednesdays are a way for children to explore, play, discover and enjoy Northumberland National Park. This Wild Wednesday is called Dipping Delights. Come along and find out what creepy-crawlies lurk in the hidden depths of the River Breamish. Learn about life in the River Breamish - who lives here, who eats who and what they all become! By identifying who lives in the river we will also be able to determine how clean the river is.
We will supply all the equipment – nets, ID charts etc; all you need to do is bring your wellies or old shoes to wear in the river.
Aimed at families with children 12 years and under. There are 2 separate sessions on this day - 10.30am-12 noon and 1pm- 2.30pm.
