Overview

Visit Heatherslaw Railway and join in "Teddies on the Train" day, when Teddies of all shapes and sizes will be working and playing at the Railway. Bring your own teddy to join in the fun or adopt one of Heatherslaw Railways' teddies for the day, taking them for a ride on the train and to visit Heatherslaw Cornmill, or for lunch at the Lavender Tearooms or Heatherslaw Tearoom. Take your Teddy with his passport for free entry to the Cornmill (as long as you have a paying adult with you) Ask the Miller to give your Teddy a ride on the sack hoist - don't forget to take a photo! Visit Heatherslaw Tearoom and/or Lavender Tearooms with your Teddy and get a free treat if your family is having refreshments or food. After all that, return your Teddy and passport to the Railway Ticket Office and get a free bonus gift! Also at the Railway - bric-a-brac table for Northumberland Air Ambulance. To get a Teddy and passport children must be accompanied by an adult and both adult and child must buy a ticket to travel on Heatherslaw Light Railway. Teddies are subject to availability.
