Quaint B&B

Charlotte O,
This is a good family run B&B with a delicious home cooked breakfast prepared in the morning. The rooms and dining area are very clean, parking for the property is right outside the front door, good location to centre of town and station and the owner is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about Berwick and the local areas. The only negative is the small room size but it is manageable for a short stay.

Nice little b&b

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for one night, lovely place.we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived, our room was nice, lovely and clean, breakfast was very nice, everything was cooked fresh. Not far from pubs and shops

Disappointing place to stay.

Sue C,
I was disappointed as soon as I saw Whyteside. It has no street appeal. However once inside I was impressed by the beautiful dining room, which was already set ready for breakfast. The grand staircase led to the first floor and to the guest rooms. Our room was then two steps down and was very small. The big, heavy furniture accentuated this and left no room to move about the space. The bathroom, although larger was quite dated and needed a good clean as mould was evident. Breakfast times were staggered and was good. I would not recommend this B & B

A nice place to stay

The room was comfortable and in a good location for the local attractions. Breakfast was very nice, we had to book the time for breakfast the day we arrived as they have a small dining room with one large table to sit round, which was nice as we got chatting to another couple. The owner was a really nice friendly chap and parking was right outside the guest house, you are given a permit to display in the car window.

Lovely stay

I stayed with my wife for one week and chose Whyside house for its location and previous reviews. Albert made us very welcome and gave us a lot of advise on where to visit and eat. Breakfast was limited but very tasty, room confortable but my wife found it slightly cold. Shower excellent, tea and coffee replaced daily. Will come back next near.
