A warm welcome awaits you at the Old Rectory in Howick. Rooms are generous in size and very comfortable. Wide range of breakfast choices. Gluten free guests very well catered for. Excellent location for exploring the wonderful coastline of Northumerland

Relaxing stay

Sun-seekers5870, Leicester, England
We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in this lovely house. From our arrival, when we were greeted with tea and homemade chocolate cake, we were made to feel welcome by this delightful couple. We stayed in Jill which was spacious with sofas to relax in after long days on the nearby coastal path. Breakfasts are varied, beautifully cooked and presented (edible flowers!) and served by the nicest lady who is a real asset to the b&b. Would recommend to anyone.

Old Rectory Howick replied: Thank you so much. We'll pass your compliments on.

Lovely place to stay

Philip B, Bristol, United Kingdom
We had a lovely time here. Very comfortable room that included sofa and armchair, and an extra bed, though we didn't need this. Breakfast was varied and plenty of choice and high quality. Very friendly hosts. A very peaceful place. We walked to Robsons fish restaurant in Craster on two evenings, using the incredibly beautiful coastal path. Great food, but you need to book. Highly recommended place to stay.

Old Rectory Howick replied: Glad you enjoyed the walks along the Coastal Path. Bit late in the year now, but wonderful in the Summer.

Elegant and majestic place to stay with lovely hosts

Deborahski,
We stayed in Jill which suited us completely. Your hosts are there when you need them, along with Linda who serves the breakfasts. I think it's fair to say that they, and the people we met in the area, were some of most friendly we've met in the world. Not an exaggeration, they really were. Local information is offered freely by Christine and David, with vouchers to attractions in the area. They can't do enough to help. The breakfasts were great and we were able to sit out in the evening sunshine in the lovely walled garden, with a bottle! All in all, one of the nicest stays ever. Thanks for the coffee Christine!

Old Rectory Howick replied: What a lovely compliment! We loved having you and hope you'll come back.

Another wonderful stay in stunning Northumbeland

ShereHazel, Guildford, United Kingdom
Amazing breakfast, luxurious bedroom, coastal cycles paths and plenty to do. What could be better? castles, gardens, sea life, island trips, bird life, book shops and peace and quiet thrown in. All local food. Amazing.

Old Rectory Howick replied: Yes, there's lots to do. We are so lucky to live in such a lovely place.
