Overview

Quality Bed & Breakfast accommodation on a beautiful coastal spot overlooking Holy Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and of Special Scientific Interest.

The premises are old stone buildings which formed part of the original farm steading. Converting the smiddy, cow byre and cartshed has created 7 spacious en-suite rooms that are independent of the farmhouse and have individual front doors so your space is your own. You will enjoy modern comfort all round and be kept warm and cosy by underfloor heating.

New lounge with beautiful view of Holy Island.

Our location is idyllic with an ever changing landscape as the sea comes and goes with the tide. The farm is an ideal base for walking, cycling, and exploring the local area – particularly Lindisfarne and Bamburgh with their magnificent beaches, castles and rich history, and The Farne Islands – a haven for wildlife.

Breakfasts are served in the Granary with plenty of fresh options and cooked breakfasts made to order using local produce. Enjoy homemade jams, local honey and Northumbrian bacon and sausages with delicious free range eggs.

B&B

Clare T, London
Great stay in this exceptional b&b. Everything was of a superb standard and we couldn't have hoped for a better stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and fresh milk and homemade cakes are provided. The communal sitting room has an outstanding view and is a beautiful space. I can't recommend highly enough.

Peaceful, elegant, comfortabke

ozzertjie, United Kingdom
This place is a gem. Situated above the coastal plain next to Holy Island, it exudes peace and silence. Rooms are mews style and beautifully styled, warm and spacious. The hospitality is friendly and informed. Evening meals on request. Reasonably priced at around £100 a night it gives good value for money and the environment is priceless.

Fabulous Weekend Break

Alan1965220, Birmingham, United Kingdom
Booked this Converted Farm convention and was disappointed..What a fantastic place..We were warmly greeted by Gill the owner and shown to our gorgeous kingsize room.Beautifully decorated with all the usual amenities, and a huge en-Suite bathroom and not forgetting the yummy homemade cakes..Just a few yards across the farm yard was the granary building where there was a beautifully set out long lounge where there was free Wi-Fi and gorgeous views across the fields to the estuary, and then downstairs was the breakfast area, again so well decorated with super views ..Breakfast was made fresh every morning and was gorgeous thanks Gill and great service from Walter..Well worth the money will definitely be back thanks for a fantastic weekend..Fenham Farm is more than a credit to you both..EXCELLENT...

St Cuthberts Way Walk

RayLynn2013, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
Four of us (two couples) stayed here on our last night of walking St Cuthberts Way. The rooms were fabulous and the breakfast was also. The only downside was the distance from the local pub to get an evening meal - we had to get a taxi both ways which was not cheap. The setting was perfect for continuing on our way to Holy Isle the next day. Our son and his family had stayed there earlier in the summer with their young baby and they were full of praise for the Farm, which is why we booked there. The Granary opposite was beautifully restored and upstairs provide a fabulous place to sit in the evening and to view the amazing scenery the next morning. We had tea and cakes in our room when we arrived after we'd been made to feel very welcome by Walter. Breakfast times have to be booked so we did that the night before. The food was great, plenty to eat to fuel the legs and all locally sourced. We stayed in a room that was equipped for someone with a disability - it had a huge walk in shower. The décor in the rooms was beautiful, as it was in the rest of the Farm buildings. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return, only this time by car!

A gem of a b & b

Ann G, Yorkshire, United Kingdom
We arrived in the dark and stayed in the dunlin room. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and you could tell everything had been tastefully done. In the morning our view was breathtaking as we looked out over towards the Holy Island. We could see cars already making their way over the exposed road. We had breakfast in the Granary and the friendly hosts deserved the Breakfast Award. Everything was locally sourced and expertly cooked to perfection. The selection of fresh fruit on offer was one of the best I have ever seen. Would definitely return, this was our first visit to this area and we were not disappointed.
