Overview

Quality Bed & Breakfast accommodation on a beautiful coastal spot overlooking Holy Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and of Special Scientific Interest.

The premises are old stone buildings which formed part of the original farm steading. Converting the smiddy, cow byre and cartshed has created 7 spacious en-suite rooms that are independent of the farmhouse and have individual front doors so your space is your own. You will enjoy modern comfort all round and be kept warm and cosy by underfloor heating.

New lounge with beautiful view of Holy Island.

Our location is idyllic with an ever changing landscape as the sea comes and goes with the tide. The farm is an ideal base for walking, cycling, and exploring the local area – particularly Lindisfarne and Bamburgh with their magnificent beaches, castles and rich history, and The Farne Islands – a haven for wildlife.

Breakfasts are served in the Granary with plenty of fresh options and cooked breakfasts made to order using local produce. Enjoy homemade jams, local honey and Northumbrian bacon and sausages with delicious free range eggs.

What a wonderful place to stay!

clivew_nz, Wellington, New Zealand
Really great place to stay. Lovely room, great shower, comfortable beds. Award winning breakfast certainly delivered. Lounge facilities in separate building very good with great views of Lindisfarne and sea. Has bottle bar so you can get drinks at reasonable prices. Will do good evening meals but must be pre-ordered at least 24 hours ahead. Service exceptional. One thing to be aware of. If you're walking, there's no other pub/restaurant anywhere close so make sure you pre-book the evening food or face a taxi bill to get out!

A perfect environment for a weekend break

Geordieknox, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
Fenham Farm B&B is a blue-print for excellence. From the quality and space of the rooms to the superb fixtures and fittings, the clean comfy beds or the home baked cakes left in the rooms, every detail has been considered. The welcome is friendly and genuine and the breakfasts could not be bettered, delicious, fresh, local produce and a fantastic choice. The location overlooking Lindisfarne, with superb views from the upstairs lounge is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of the Northumbrian coastline. The star filled night skies and the moonlight over Holy Island are images that will stay with me for ever. Outstanding.

Fenham Farm Bed & Breakfast replied: Thank you very much for the lovely review. The moon on the water over Holy Island IS really special. So glad you experienced it.

Wonderful Position and an excellent place to stay

KJamesGlos, Glos
We only stayed the one night but wish we had stayed longer. We received a warm welcome and in our room on arrival was lovely piece of cake which, as you will know, goes well with the first cup of tea following a long day. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. There is no evening meal provided but the breakfast was one of the bets of the holiday. The rooms have been converted form old farm outhouses and the conversion is some of the best I have seen. We used the accommodation as a base to visit Holy Island the next day. This was a good decision as you are so near you don't need to worry about beating the tide. Thoroughly recommended.

Fenham Farm Bed & Breakfast replied: Thank you. Perhaps you can stay longer another time!

Excellent Place to stay

Dave B, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Perfect hosts - Gill does the best Northumberland breakfast assisted by Wally. Ideal location to chill, walk, cycle and play golf. One needs to drive for local amenities/restaurants which could be a drawback for some folk. Definitely a place to stay.

Splendid accommodation near the sea

Joyce K, Silver Spring
My husband and I spent 2 wonderful nights at this splendid B and B. The farm, rooms, breakfast and service all are first-class. Owners recently renovated to the highest standards. We enthusiastically recommend this B and B for anyone seeking a large, beautifully appointed room in a beautifully-renovated farm building, near the sea.

Fenham Farm Bed & Breakfast replied: Thank you very much!
