Indulgent soak in a roll top bath

Jaynewoo, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Maureen and Peter are excellent friendly hosts, with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Their tips and recommendations were a big help to us. We were in the Church View room, full of character and a comfy bed. The roll top bath was lovely. Only a couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre of Alnwick, with access to the castle, it was great not to have to use the car.

Superb B and B

This lovely b and b reminds you why hotels are often so dull. The location is brilliant for the area, the house is lovely and the warm welcome very appreciated. Maureen and Peter offer friendly hospitality and beautifully furnished accommodation, with hand-picked pieces that often have a family or local connection. The breakfasts were fantastic and catered for all tastes. The hosts' warm and friendly welcome make it a memorable stay. Highly recommended. Tasty cake when you arrive, too!

Superb B&B

Peter K, Oldham, United Kingdom
Stayed 3 nights. Maureen and Peter must be one of the best hosts in the buisness. This is our second visit and not our last. The attention to detail is wonderful. Very clean throughout. Comfy bed. TV. Free wi-fi, tea& coffee in room. Quality toiletries. Breakfast always well presented using quality products. The smoked salmon very tasty. If not on the menu then Maureen will get it for you. Happy to book trips for you and reserve a table for meals in restaraunts. No problem parking outside. 5 mins stroll to centre of town. Very happy to recommend this guest house

A warm welcome awaits!

I spent 10 nights with Maureen and Peter as I was visiting Alnwick for the music festival. They both made me so welcome, were so attentive, kind and thoughtful, I wanted to move in, and become a permanent resident. Lovely food, lovely surroundings, lovely people........... well, what more can I say but "JUST LOVELY",

Delightful B&B

As in previous reviews of this gorgeous quirky little B& B we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - or to return!! Peter & Maureen are friendly & welcoming & do absolutely everything to make you feel at home from the minute you walk in to be greeted by a cup of tea & home made fruit cake !! Our room overlooked the church across the road & we loved the photos on the walls( you can read more about them in the info guide in the bedroom !) There were all sort of lovely touches- from the assorted pictures & ornaments to the pretty china, silver napkin holders and delicious food ( Peters rhubarb & ginger & plums in honey just two of the highlights!) Really cannot praise this homely B & B enough - we will def be back ! 😄
